Mazi pulled up on us with the gang and em fresh out of the studio. She said she was basically in the studio for 3 days straight, no sunlight, just straight putting work. Maxi said this is the year you see what her consistency means. She said she is here to take everything the music scene owes her. WHO COMMIT MORE? MEN OR WOMEN? We had a good time, we allowed her to say all o the weird things she wanted to open speak on. We had to ask where she stands with hearing more and more women deepen their voice when they are rapping, especially with her acknowledging that her voice naturally gives the cadence that people are gravitating towards for female artist. WE got to take a trip through Maui mind and she was open and comfortable with us. Maxi would never let none of tyou other rappers ghost write her anuything, but if Beyonce was to come to her with some written, lol her state changes, after all, Bey is the goat of it all. We did touch on something I think was important, therapy in the trenches, is it needed? Should it be spoken on more? And is two people who went through similar situations discussing it openly a form of therapy? Or even just a good starting point?
